El 17 de diciembre de 1963, el DJ Carroll James radiaba en la WWDC de Washington "I want to hold your hand". Era la primera vez que sonaban The Beatles en EE.UU. A partir de esa fecha y durante un par de años, una gran cantidad de artistas británicos copaban las listas de músicas estadounidenses. El movimiento vino a llamarse The British Invasion. En esta edición de Giroscopio Musical escuchamos algunas de esas canciones, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds, The Animal, Them, Petula Clark o Marianne Faithfull entre otros muchos.
